Customer Services Customer service is part of the reason Oakland Nursery was chosen a “Super Service Provider” by Angie's List, and elected as Columbus' top garden center by both Columbus Magazine and Columbus Alive magazine membership. We offer an array of services to make your gardening and landscape experience as easy and successful as possible. And of course, our expert advice is only a phone call away. Delivery Have you found the perfect plant for the yard, but do not have the means to transport or plant it? Our retail crews will deliver plants, fountains, etc., anywhere on your property. We also deliver bagged much to your driveway. These services cost $50 (flat fee.) Planting Installing a plant costs one half the cost of the plant or a minimum $65. This service includes delivery, digging the hole, planting, and mulching around the plant afterward. CALL TWO DAYS AHEAD to locate underground utilities. Dial 811. Special Orders Not finding the items you need? Whether it is a plant, statuary, fountain, or garden product, Oakland Nursery has access to a multitude of suppliers. Large or expensive items may require a 25% non- refundable deposit. Call or stop in with your request and we'll do our best to find it. Warranty Policy for Plants Oakland Nursery warrants all nursery stock as true-to-name, in healthy condition, and sized to industry standards at the time of purchase. Oakland Nursery accepts returns provided the original receipt, original plant tags, and dead plant are brought back to store of purchase. A valid phone number and address are required for returns. Cancelled checks or copies of credit card charges are not acceptable. Dead plants are eligible for a plant credit for the purchase price of the plants, less any coupons or discounts. Plant credits may be used to purchase plants or merchandise in the garden store. Replacement plants are not guaranteed. Sale plants are warranted for the sale price only. Plant credits expire one year from the date issued. If Oakland Nursery delivers or installs a plant which is returned for a credit, the same service will be provided as a courtesy for replacement plants purchased with that credit only. No refunds are given for such services not used with that credit. Warranty time limits
Gift Cards Gift Cards are available in person or by phone at any Oakland Nursery store, in any denomination. They also can be purchased online. There is no time limit in which the card must be used. Coupons or discounts cannot be used to purchase gift cards. Landscape Consultation Our delivery and planting crews stay very busy focusing on getting customer items delivered and plants installed. If more extensive landscape services are needed, such as building a planting bed, mulching and maintenance, design plans, or plan installation, please contact our landscape division. Expert Advice Our garden stores receive thousands of phone calls a years form Columbus area gardeners with their problems, ideas and questions. We promise to do our best to find the answer you need. If you have a problem specific to a certain plant, it helps to bring in a branch of the affected plant showing the symptoms, or a picture of the plant and it surroundings. |
